ME?
I’m Ava; I write and direct absurd, heartfelt dramas about humanity’s quirks. (I make films, weird ones)
At 14, I made Beth and somehow won the IMDb New Filmmaker Award 2021. Since then, I’ve made seven shorts, including the multi-award-winning Dying to Meet You, screened at BAFTA- and Oscar-qualifying festivals worldwide.
On stage, my play Brainstorm ran at Leeds Playhouse, and two of my plays hit the finals of the National Theatre’s New Views in 2023 and 2024.
